In the 2011 Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe pageant, Shana was amongst the top twelve contestants and she has worked with many professional fashion photographers in Sri Lanka.
Q-Shana, I know you told us that you are not committing more time for fashion but what’s your biggest achievement?
Being able to represent one of the most prestigious airlines in the world and being able to travel to other countries at an early age, and continue to do so.
Q-Shana, I understand that you give more priority to work, is there any specific reason why you don’t devote time and energy in modelling?
Well, I have worked with many photographers but I am very choosy on the work I take up due to the time strains.

Contestants from 89 countries are vying for the Mis Uniiverse title this year.
Sabrina Herft, a past pupil of the Asian International School, holds a degree in Mass Communication of the University of Melbourne, Australia. At present she is a media coordinator of a World Bank funded project in Sri Lanka.
