Sean Kingston and Nelly perform at Carlton Super 7s Rugby concert

Award winning singers Sean Kingston and Nelly are scheduled to perform in Sri Lanka at the launch concert of the 2013 Carlton Super 7s Rugby tournament.

Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, a National rugby player himself, who is involved with Carlton, tweeted saying that the two big names will be in Sri Lanka for the concert on the 12th of July.

Grammy award-winning US hip hop artist, Nelly, is currently in the charts with Hey Porsche, the first single from his upcoming seventh album, titled M.O.

The album is scheduled for release in June 2013, and currently has a long list of featured artists rumoured to be involved in the project.

Kingston is meanwhile popular in Sri Lanka at the moment with his track Back 2 Life taken off the album with the same name.

For his third-full length album Back 2 Life, Sean Kingston immensely expanded his songwriting role, nixed the multi-producer approach of his last release, and pushed for a fresh new sound.
Like his 2007 self-titled debut (featuring the double-platinum breakout hit “Beautiful Girls”) and 2009’s Tomorrow (featuring the smash singles “Fire Burning” and “Face Drop”), Back 2 Life boldly fuses reggae, hip-hop, R&B, and electro to create melody-soaked pop.

But on Back 2 Life, the singer/songwriter blends his newly strengthened vocals with fiercely inventive electronic effects and hard-hitting live instrumentation to offer up his most passionately inspired work.
