You are one of Sri Lanka’s youngest & most successful models. What’s your secret?

First of all I respect senior people in the industry and the society. Secondly I believe in myself. My theory is that fashion needs newness, ‘wow’ness therefore I always take courage to do new things and continue doing new things.

What’s makes you keep going on in life?
I love my family, I care about them; and I know for a fact that they love me a lot and they are always there for me in thick and thin. So it’s the family which keeps me going.

I have seen you in music videos, TV adverts - why don’t you take up acting?
It’s like this, I love tele-dramas, I love to be in one if I got the right opportunity.

But when it comes to TV appearances I would rather be in commercials as it’s short and sweet. I don’t know if I can put up with a long time commitment such as a tele-drama.

What’s the most important part of your body and why?
The most important part of me is my eyes, I see truth, I see bad and good.

As fan of beauty culture and as a model, can you share your secret for good skin complexion?
Always keep your skin clean and always - PLEASE choose the suitable skin care product for your skin. And ladies, please drink plenty of water.

When will this glamorous Kristina settle down with her choice of Mr. Perfect?

Well I just started my life, so I guess there is time for me to settle down.

Apart from your activities in fashion, what do you do in your life?

I’m engaged in higher studies as I feel education is vital for anyone these days.
