‘Siri Perakum’ is based on life phases of King Parakramabahu II reined in Dabadeniya era, specially his childhood.
The main shooting locations of the movie were based on Dabadeniya area.
The movie has introduced new talents Akila Dhanuddara Anthony, Senali Fonseka and Sinethi Akila to Sinhala cinema.
